We have started our new topic called ‘Red, White and Blue’. During the topic the children will learn all about London. They will look at famous landmarks of the capital city, the Royal Family and will learn a little about the history of London. We will find out about the Great fire of London and the impact it had on how buildings were built and the Fire service. We are linking Paddington Bear in literacy to London as he has had many adventures in the capital city and wrote many books about the different places he visited.
